Homestead_SnatchAt CrossFit Homestead. They are moving into a new location this weekend, and we happened to meet up with the owners at Starbucks the other day. Samantha told us that we could come train today while they installed flooring and stuff. Their new location is going to be awesome. They have a great open area for CrossFit with plywood insets for Olympic weightlifting, an office, a kitchen/lounge area and a classroom space. Very nice.

Snatch:
Bunch of reps, some doubles up to 143 lbs.
Missed 148 lbs twice. I could tell I was just letting it get in my head, which irritated me. So…

I went back down to 143 lbs and made myself do Snatch WOD with it. Kept going for 11 reps.

Snatch WOD @ 143 lbs:
11 attempts – 7 makes and 4 misses, 4 consecutive makes

That’s a PR for attempts at that weight, a PR for consecutive makes at that weight and a PR for total makes at that weight.

That was enough cardio. Our shirts were literally dripping.
